We're entering into fiery and competitive Aries season!! It's an exciting time! I can't speak for everyone, but this winter sure was rough, full of a lot of hard work and a lot of loss- it's so exciting to be able to look forward to Spring!
I cooked up a special reading, just for Aries season, and I'm real excited to share it with y'all.
True to the fire that pumps through Aries veins, this reading is fast, Fast, FAST! However, this reading is also a call for awareness and mindfulness during Aries season. The middle row catches the most attention, of course! These cards are packed with action! The six of swords reminds us that all of our actions have consequences- the entire reading should surround this card, really, as everything points back to this: Do not act on impulse right now! Your blood may be goin', but this is not the time to be taking risks, losing yourself in competition, or jumping without a plan. Being decisive is a great trait (my Libra ass is envious of anyone who knows what they want, are you kidding??? Mad props), but any urge to shoot first, ask questions later, is gunna get you in trouble. Sometimes, we are seduced by a little trouble, and that's all fine and well! But that six of swords is painful, it doesn't talk about just a loss, it's talking about a painful loss. One that is spurred by the decisions we made in the past. One that is, unfortunately, necessary for us to move forward into the future. So tread carefully!
To further solidify these messages, oracle card Puppet Show Stage says "acts can't go on forever", and Lake Midnight says "you're not stuck here". Both of these cards, within context of the spread, give me a huge sense of a transformative period- we're being warned not to go, Go, GO! because we're not ready to come out of our cocoons, we're still caterpillar soup! We're still sproutlings establishing our roots! Have patience with this process. Learn to sit still, for even just a moment, and breathe. Our bottom cards continue further: "Now is the time to pause and reflect before acting" speaks for itself. The real Transformative Kicker is the card that says: "Be open to new ideas and seek an outside perspective". You gotta hang tight right now, because you aren't ready- for one reason or another, there is still growth to do within yourself, or a skillset, or an option that would be better suited for you but hasn't been explored or even discovered.
To clarify, this isn't a reading that's saying you shouldn't act at all and just sit passively, it's just saying to think a little first, and assess the situation before rocketing yourself into the first idea or option that sounds good. It will be a challenge, but it's one we must face head on, because like it or not, our actions have consequences, but so do our lack of actions. Find balance this Aries season!! Maybe wiggle out any excess energy before charging forth into opportunities, decisions, and projects. A little wiggle ain't never hurt no one.
